  2. Congratulations. Now, it would be interesting if you could develop a game of a simlar high quality but charge $0.99 for it. Then see how the download numbers stack up.

  3. How many number of installs are active?

  4. Charging for the app would be interesting. Try make a part 2 of this. Will be a good case study of how marketable Android games are.

  5. Been playing it the last 3 days. One of the best games I've played for Android, especially in the free department! Great job and congratulations on your milestone! :)

  6. As long as it had a demo, I like to think it'd get close.

I don't believe there's any reason to think that the Android Market isn't every bit as viable as Apple's.

  7. Wonderful code Chris. I have been pouring over it for weeks. I am trying to write a 2d overhead zombie game and I want to use the replica engine...but... it is proving harder than I thought.

  8. Chris,

I am having trouble progressing onto level #18, it is lit up in green, but no amount of pressing the screen seems to take me anywhere.
Any ideas? Or at least point me where to properly enquire about this.

    Awesome Game otherwise!

  9. Replica Island doesn't seem to be on Android Market anymore. Is it not available to HTC Wildfire with Android 2.1?

  10. Chris,

In your Google I/O 09 talk you said you had a rant about the game industry. You touched on it some in the talk and I think I saw where you were going with it (Same stuff is being made over and over again and fewer and fewer risks are being taken?). I was thinking it would be cool if you posted your 'rant,' as I'm very interested in hearing it.

  17. It got me thinking about the worth we place on virtual experiences, much like pondering 'How Much Does Plato’s Closet Pay for Clothes' prompts reflections on the value we attach to our physical wardrobes.
